Scav Character Mod
A downloadable mod
CURRENTLY NOT TESTED FOR MULTIPLAYER. MAY BE BUGGY.
Summary
- Passive: Enemies/props drop resources. Resources can be used to place down passive upgrades in your home.
- Active: Build walls/buildings.
- Press B to leave your house.
Scav likes hiding in her secret IDPD house.
She automatically goes back to her house after every transition/cave level.
Scav can create buildings in her house to give her passive upgrades for the rest of the run. She can also build walls when not in her house, allowing her to take cover from enemy fire.
To build buildings in her house, Scav learned to loot resources from enemy corpses.
Controls
- Press right-click while not in your home to build/destroy a wall.
You can only build walls on empty floors, and can only destroy walls you build.
- Press right-click in your home to build a building. The current building is displayed on the top of the screen, which you can change by mousing over the right or left arrows.
- To exit your house, press B.

I agree with RogueAbyss, please don't abandon this character!
Sadly, I'm pretty much done with Nuclear Throne mods and my code at the time of making these was beyond horrible. Updating these mods would be a nightmare.
If I ever return to modding Nuclear Throne, I will probably remake mods like this from scratch.
Right now, I'm currently working on modding Brutal Orchestra. Totally recommend checking it out.

I found a bug: if I start the game as any other character, I will still get home

I apologize if the speech is not clear, I do not know English very well and I used a translator.
I'm made a portrait of her. Her body changed because the scav is a rebel + rogue, I think this needs to be edited. If you need me to make it like in the game, I can redraw it.

Scav was intended to be a girl. There's no real reason for there being a canon gender, though. So if in your head Scav feels like they should have a different gender, then they do.

I really like this mod but could you make the ultras actually useful?
The one that gives you extra resources is useless because at level 10 you have pretty much built everything that the limit allows you to.
The other one that refills your hp and ammo is useless because you'll already have ammo chests in your house and health regen from the plants.
Instead there could be one that expands your house and or allows you to build more.
(Edit: are people in the nt community even active anymore? Hmmm...)
